M-Fire Personnel have extensive experience within heavy industry environments and are accustom to the varying processes and procedures needed to conduct works safely and effectively in these environments.
We have experience in both service and installation in facilities such as Vales Point Power Station, One Steel, Hydro Aluminium, Orica, Mt Thorley Mine and the Kooragang Island Coal Loaders.
With our understanding of these varying environments and associated risks within the heavy industry sector, we ensure that safety is our key priority at all times on every Job and Task.
Our system experience ranges from basic level detection, suppression and controls to complex level networking, Modbus interfacing and Graphics Systems.
Including Shopping centres and Complex’s, Retail, Multi Storey buildings.
Our personnel have gained experience in many of the commercial centres throughout the Hunter, Newcastle and Central Coast regions. This includes multi-story commercial, apartments and accommodation, small to large shopping complexes such as Charlestown Square, Various Stockland Shopping Centres, Lake Haven Shopping Centre.
For these facilities we bring experience in providing full system servicing and installation of Fire Detection Systems, EWIS, AS1668 Fan Control Systems and interfacing of Building management system interfacing and Fire Suppression Systems.
Our recent commercial works includes the Charlestown Square Redevelopment works where M-Fire were engaged to provide the Dry Fire Installation works and system programming for H&M, Cotton, Uniqlo and Aldi.
Health Care and Education
Including Hospitals, Universities and Nursing Homes.
Over the years, our staff have provided service, repairs and installation works on emergency systems within Aged Care, Education and Hospital facilities throughout the, Central Coast, Hunter, North Coast and New England Regions of NSW.
We Understand the need to be flexible in accommodating the varied access requirements in order to perform works safely, and to minimise disruption to the ongoing operations of the facilities while doing so. We also understand the importance in maintaining emergency system operations at all times during potential works and can engineer any system to ensure maximum possible protection is provided at all times. M-Fire have recently completed full Fire System Upgrades to the University of Newcastle Great Hall and Life Sciences Theatre.
These works entailed upgrading conventional detection systems to fully site networkable addressable detection systems. Both projects had limited access timeframes due to bookings and were successfully completed with zero system impairment time outside of working hours.
Water Treatment plants, Telecommunications and Power Distribution.
M-Fire Lead Technicians have experience with Service, Installation and service of emergency systems serving Utility sites such as Telephone Exchanges, Water Treatment Plants, and Electrical Substations.
Our experiences range from Combustible Gas detection, Fire Detection and Fire Suppression for Hunter Water Sites, Tesltra Exchanges and Transgrid Substations.
Defence facilities and local council facilities.
We have experience working in Government sites from Defence to Local council facilities. Our personnel have over 10 years’ experience conducting servicing, Installation and Maintenance for sites such as the Civic Theatre, Council Admin Buildings, Singleton Army Base and Williamtown RAAF Base, as well as providing specialised system programming and Graphical User Interfacing.
Large Infrastructure Projects
Experience for St Helena Tunnel Byron Bay, Darling Harbour Live Project Sydney
M-fire has sub-contract experience in providing services over the last 2 years for major infrastructure projects for the St Helena Tunnel works as part of Tintenbar to Ewingsdale Pacific Highway Upgrade at Byron Bay, and the Darling Harbour International Convention Centre Project in Sydney.
For our role in the St Helena Tunnel project, M-Fire provided the Fire System Technical Programming Services and System Commissioning Services. The installed system primarily comprised of fully 44 Automated Deluge Systems, activated by Optic Fibre Linear Heat Detection throughout the tunnel and Tunnel Jet Fans.
These were monitored and controlled by the Networked Fire Systems, Fire Graphics Systems and Building Management Control Systems within the Tunnel Control Centre, and remote control facilities at Grafton and Sydney.
Our role as part of the International Darling Harbour Project has been to provide Technical and Commissioning services for the project.
